Child Alert 10-33
An emergency response program for children with special health care needs. 10-33 is code for "extreme" emergency. Parents and physicians fill out questionnaire describing detailed medical problems of child, with instructions to follow in case of emergency. This information is kept on a card file in the ambulance, and reviewed when call is received. Check with local ambulance service to see if this program is available to you.
